Disk vacuum filterDisk vacuum filter consists of trough, main shaft, filter disk, distribution valve, stripping device, water rushing device, net washing part, transmission part, discharging part. As a solid and liquid separator, disk vacuum filter uses vacuum as filtering power. It integrates advanced technologies of guiding bogie, gear shift mixing, counter-blower discharging and automatic lubricating. Disk vacuum filter is a filter machine especially designed for ore concentrate dewatering and color metal dewatering. It can also be used in coal washing selecting, nonmetal mine, chemistry and environment protection industry.
Disk vacuum filter Work principle
The disk vacuum filter consists of separate fan shape disk. Each disk as a filter unit, encloses filter cloth inside to make filter room. The disk is driven by gear to rotate in clockwise. Thanks to vacuum pump, pressure difference exists between two sides of filtering medium. The mineral pulp in filtering room sticks to filter disk to form cake. The mixing part is to prevent cake from sinking. The cake out of water is dried due to vaccum effect. The filtering liquid goes through the filter cloth into filter tube. Then it drains away through distribution end. In discharging area the filter cake is blown by counter-wind down to outlet trough. The whole process can be gone continuously.
Note the pulp temperature should be within 10 to 50 degree celsius without corrosive.
Solid particle size in pulp should be within 100 to 400 meshes.
For metal mineral, the best pulp consistency is 35 to 65 percent, while for nonmetal mineral such as coal and similar materials, the best consistency is 20 to 40 percent.
